One of the main objectives was to add a second bathroom to improve convenience and accommodate the household’s needs. The original flat had a single bathroom, which limited usability and comfort. To achieve this, the layout was carefully reconfigured to carve out space for an additional bathroom without compromising the size or flow of other living areas. Thanks to Kimi’s skilful spatial planning, this was seamlessly integrated, increasing the flat’s functionality while maintaining an open, balanced feel.

Creating an Open-Plan Kitchen and Living Area

A major transformation involved removing walls to convert the kitchen and living room into an open-plan layout. This redesign significantly improved the flow and natural light throughout the main living spaces, creating a brighter, more inviting environment.
